Welcome to 635 Gardening!

635 is the call number for the subject of gardening in the Dewey Decimal system for library systems. My goal for this website and blog is to discuss in my posts:

• garden visits of places that are lesser known but still unique and most likely be in Southern California,
• books that I have read and what I learned from them,
• films or documentaries that are worth the time to watch,
• and sharing some trials and experiences on gardening in Southern California (Zone 10A) which will lean towards water conservation, native plants, with an emphasis in organic gardening. And butterflies. I have an obsession with butterflies.
